Natural Vegan Wine Making

This course is suitable for anyone interested in the conversion of fruit and vegetables into a unique alcoholic beverage!

During the day, students will learn through discussion and taking part in practical demonstration. Topics covered include:

  • necessary equipment
  • preparation of ingredients
  • the pros and cons of additives
  • starting your wine - with the right yeast and temperature
  • how to continue - ensuring fermentation is successful
  • 'racking' your wine

All ingredients discussed will be vegan.

Morning session: 10 am - 1 pm, afternoon session: 2 pm - 5 pm. Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch. Bring your own demijohn if you have one, otherwise we have some for sale. You will leave with your own gallon of started wine. All ingredients provided
