Steward Community Woodland

Owen has lived at Steward Wood for three years. The services he offers include

• Tree work: fruit trees and delicate specimens carefully pruned using a specialist hand saw when beneficial for the tree's health. Coppicing, pollarding, felling carried out (using hand tools if requested).
• Tree planting: advice on site and situation, native and fruit tree saplings planted.
• Advice on timber stacking and storing.
• Green woodwork: demonstrations and green wood products built to order.
• A mobile bandsaw service: Owen's WoodMizer bandsaw runs on biofuel and has a small blade thickness to enable you to get the most timber from your logs.
• Bigger tree work considered, Owen has many years experience of working with trees and in gardens and can act in partnership or supervisory roles during large jobs.

Just don't ask him to do landscaping!
